About
I’m always creating, whether that’s through design, woodworking, DIY projects, or hands-on crafting. Making things has been a constant in my life, and that drive to create naturally led me into design. While I studied digital arts, much of my perspective has been shaped through real-world experience. I often say that UnderConsideration’s Brand New blog and conference became my second education, continuing to influence how I think about branding and design today.
I’m driven by a curiosity to explore and push the boundaries of what’s possible. My experience spans branding, layout, print, web, hand lettering, and both pen-and-ink and digital illustration, all grounded in creating thoughtful and impactful visual systems. I’m drawn to a straightforward approach to design, not necessarily minimal, but intentional, where every decision has a purpose.
Most of my professional experience has been in healthcare and pharma, but I’m especially interested in working with brands that care, whether that’s around social issues, mental health, or community building. I want to collaborate with people and organizations making a meaningful impact, both locally and globally.
Outside of design, you’ll probably find me woodworking, taking on home DIY projects, hiking or backpacking, training dogs, or playing bike polo (it’s exactly what it sounds like). I’m inspired by the outdoors, community, and a strong DIY ethos, along with a deep interest in social justice and mental health awareness. As someone who is neurodivergent and introverted, I bring a perspective to my work that values empathy, clarity, and intention.
