Anarcrust Cookbook

When a friend approached me about creating a cookbook for their partner's 40th birthday gift, I eagerly jumped on board. Initially planning something straightforward, I saw the chance to craft a truly memorable gift. Given our shared punk backgrounds, I conceived a theme for the cookbook that cleverly riffed on the infamous Anarchist Cookbook, blending it with the iconic vibe of the anarcho-punk band Crass. All the recipes featured in this unique cookbook hail from his circle of friends and family. To add an interactive touch, alongside the cookbook, we included a small polaroid-style camera. This allowed him to snap photos of the completed recipes and affix them onto designated spots in the book – a personal touch to mark each culinary adventure.
